Hello
A Bit About Me
I’m Serenity Flie, a senior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Management. This site highlights my growth as a student, my passion for understanding people and behavior, and my journey toward becoming a professional in the psychology field.
Take a look around — you’ll find my resume, projects, research, and examples of the communication and leadership skills I’ve developed throughout my college experience.
Getting to know me
I’m originally from Osceola, Arkansas, and I chose UALR because it was affordable, close to home, and because my brother also attended here. Psychology has always fascinated me. I love learning about the mind, how people think, and why they behave the way they do.
Outside of school, I enjoy doing hair, spending time with friends, my sorority activities, basketball, and art. I like to stay busy and creative, whether I’m styling hair or brainstorming new ideas. Those same skills — creativity, focus, and patience — are what I bring into my academic and professional work.
Empower
Growth
I chose psychology because I truly care about helping others grow and understand themselves better.
I’ve seen how much communication, understanding, and patience can change people’s lives, and that’s what drives me. My goal is to work in a field where I can use my skills to support others — possibly in counseling, school psychology, or clinical work.
I believe that when we learn to understand the “why” behind people’s behavior, we create more empathy and stronger communities.
